Die Nächte des Ramadan
The month of Ramadan is one of the most important festivities in the year for all Muslims. The “Nächte des Ramadan” (nights of Ramadan) have the ambition to familiarize non-Muslims with this foreign culture. For the third time now Muslims and non-Muslims can celebrate Ramadan together on the Museum Island, in the Heimathafen Neukölln und in the Kulturbrauerei. The cultural festival includes concerts, films, readings, dance and culinary delights from Morocco to Turkey and from Syria to China, which give an insight into different cultures in which Muslims are at home. The summer motto for free and outside applies to many of these activities.
